Data Tempobase was founded in 2018 in Sanchong District, New Taipei City, by veteran database architect Meilin Chen. Having spent over a decade resolving production incidents caused by naive database migration scripts in fast-growing APAC enterprises, Chen established the firm with a single mission: to replace high-risk cutover gambles with mathematically verified, zero-downtime migration architectures.
Over eight years of active practice, our consulting engineers have audited, choreographed, and supervised over 120 production database cutovers across relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Oracle), document, and distributed streaming engines.

We operate as technical advisors and pair architects, bringing rigorous discipline to every data migration project.
We believe that no performance gain or architectural modernization justifies dropped transactions. Every data migration plan must include automated row-by-row and checksum validation.
Production traffic cannot be halted for hours. We prioritize parallel-run (expand/contract) designs and continuous asynchronous CDC streams over heavy offline batch migrations.
Every step in our cutover runbook has a designated time limit and a predefined rollback trigger. If staging thresholds are not met, the roll-forward halts automatically.
