Client Reviews & Architectural Case Records
Concrete outcomes from our data migration planning, schema refactoring, and cutover advisory engagements. Each account reflects real operational constraints, high write volumes, and verified zero-loss outcomes.
"Data Tempobase restructured our multi-terabyte MySQL to distributed PostgreSQL migration plan. Their dual-write isolation strategy allowed us to backfill 450 million shipment records over three weeks without increasing API p99 latency by more than 4ms."
"The initial discovery phase took four days longer than our original sprint forecast because their team uncovered several undocumented stored procedures in our 12-year-old billing core. While the schedule had to adjust slightly, their thoroughness prevented what would have been a catastrophic double-billing bug during cutover."
"During our overnight cutover window, their minute-by-minute playbook kept three distributed engineering squads in complete sync. We transitioned our transaction engine with an actual write-pause duration of exactly eight seconds."
"Their mathematical reconciliation script compared 80 million financial ledger rows in under 25 minutes using partition-level checksums. We obtained clean mathematical proof of zero row divergence prior to decommissioning our legacy cluster."
High-Volume Logistics Platform: Monolith to Distributed PostgreSQL
The Engineering Challenge
A major freight logistics operator in Northern Taiwan was running an 8TB legacy MySQL database handling over 3,200 continuous write transactions per second. Table size on their core parcel tracking entity exceeded 450 million records. Regular ALTER TABLE commands caused table-level locks that cascaded into API timeouts across mobile courier devices.
The Data Tempobase Approach
We structured an Expand-and-Contract parallel migration blueprint. Using an asynchronous Debezium CDC pipeline and a custom chunked backfill worker, historical data was populated in primary key batches of 5,000 rows with dynamic sleep backoffs linked to subscriber WAL lag.
The Verified Result
The entire 450-million-row dataset was synchronized to the new distributed PostgreSQL schema over 21 days with zero table locks on the primary database. The final production cutover window executed in 8.4 seconds with zero dropped courier transactions.

Financial Ledger Sharding & Mathematical Verification
The Engineering Challenge
A payment gateway operating across Taiwan, Singapore, and Hong Kong required splitting an 80-million-row unified transactional ledger into tenant-sharded schema partitions to satisfy regulatory audit latency standards. Every penny, balance calculation, and historical audit log had to balance down to the exact decimal.
The Data Tempobase Approach
We developed a multi-threaded mathematical verification tool that calculated deterministic MD5 hashes for deterministic entity blocks across both legacy and sharded target instances. Where hash divergence occurred, binary search drills immediately pinpointed mismatched record IDs without locking production tables.
The Verified Result
The engineering team obtained complete mathematical verification of ledger balance integrity across all shards before disconnecting the legacy engine.
